FROM THE LONDON TEMPLE
We have arrived!
Our first week in the London Temple was very busy. Our training has gone well and we are really enjoying our work in the Temple. We viewed General Conference live at 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM each day. It is always an uplifting experience.
Visit to Ham House and Gardens on our first day off
One of a series of Grand Houses along side the river Thames. This home is over 400 years old and was owned by the Countess of Dysart. The house was filled with many paintings and ornate furniture. The gardens were most impressive and the English Countryside was at its finest.
one of the many gardens
As a side note: prior to leaving Provo we spent a day with our cousins Bruce and Melaine Seely who were kind enough to drive us to Payson Canyon to see the autumn colours.

Elder and Sister Kiddle
you must be loving it, the photos from England are lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe Ham House looks like something out of Pride & Prejudice! And you are getting to experience it first hand!! Happy to hear of the experiences you are having in between your wonderful service at the Temple!
ReplyDeleteHey, we know Bruce and Melanie Seely! They must be related on David's side of the family. The canyon photo makes me homesick for Utah.
