Birthday celebrations in Pool & Day Trip to Sheffield Park

This past weekend was a busy one. On Saturday we took a train to Poole, Dorset to help celebrate the 80th birthday of Brother Chris Anderson ( who was baptized by Elder Kiddle and Elder Hendricks
50 years ago during their service in the SW British Mission). We were elated to also see another convert from Elder Kiddle's mission, Maureen Cheyney. It was a wonderful party and great reunion. We also attended the Poole Ward on Sunday in the Chapel that was built while Elder Kiddle was there on his mission.

This past Monday we enjoyed an outing on the Bluebell Railway to see the many spring bluebells along the tracks. We then visited Sheffield Park and Gardens which was outstanding in its beauty.

The work in the Temple continues to be the highlight of our Mission. The New Temple President commencing November 1st was announced as Kenneth Johnson and emeritus 70. We have been privileged to work along side him and his wife as part time Temple workers. He is one of the sealers.
