A visit to Bodiam Castle and the Town of Rye

For our day off on May 20th we went in the Temple Van to see Bodiam Castle and the Town of Rye. Even though Bodiam Castle looks complete from the outside, the inside of the Castle is in ruins. The moat surrounding the castle is quite large and is full of hundreds of fish (mostly Carp). There are many ducks at the castle who are not afraid of tourists and do not scamper away when you walk by.

The town of Rye is known for its cobblestone streets and very old buildings. There was also an old church which had some beautiful stained glass windows.
